Hong Kong Institute of Allergy Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

很高興我們出席了 Hong Kong Institute of Allergy Annual Scientific Meeting 2026。

We were delighted to attend the Hong Kong Institute of Allergy Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 yesterday. This year’s meeting also celebrated the Hong Kong Institute of Allergy’s 30th anniversary and was held under the theme “Unity in Diversity: 30 Years of Legacy,” bringing together professionals from different backgrounds to exchange the latest developments in allergy care, education, and research.
A particularly encouraging highlight was the Call for Abstracts session, where three students—Percy Kong, Justin Yau, and Sharon Cheng—presented research based on their analysis of data from our Food-Allergic Traveller Survey.
It was inspiring to see young people transform survey data into meaningful research findings and share their work confidently on an academic platform. This was more than a presentation: it helped bring the real needs and challenges faced by people with food allergies while travelling to the attention of more healthcare professionals and research peers.
Our sincere thanks to all three students for the time and effort they dedicated to the data analysis and presentations, and to the organisers for providing such a valuable platform for exchange.
We are currently compiling the key findings from this research and will soon make a formal announcement of the Food-Allergic Traveller Survey results. Please stay tuned for updates from SAFE BITE Hong Kong.
